History-Paris is owned and operated by 2A-Tours. 2A-Tours is a company registered in France  (SIRET: 53194800800010 / VAT N° FR36 531948008). By accessing any areas of the www.history-paris.com site (“site”), users (“Users” or “you” or “customer(s)”) agree to be legally bound and to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Any command sent to 2A-Tours implies to be submitted to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must not use this Site. Users should make certain that they read and fully understand all of the provisions of these Terms and Condition.

Payments
Payments are made via Paypal or bank transfer (via IBAN codes). 2A-Tours works with Paypal and a reliable bank (Crédit Mutuel) to operate payments. User must comply with the term of use of these services.

Payments do not imply an invoice for booking. Invoice will be sent by email if asked.

For individuals, the total price of the tour must be paid in advance. Booking will be accepted only once payment is fully completed.

For professionals, 25% of the total price must be paid in advance. The rest must be paid the day after the tour.

Prices
Our prices are net and include tax (VAT). The payment is due in Euro.

Indicated prices are valid since their publication and in general for a season long. 2A-Tours can at any time modify the prices published on the Site.

2A-Tours is committed not to use the data collected. The Customer can at any time ask to be deleted from the Customers’ list by writing an email to info@history-paris.com. The list has been declared to Commission Nationale Informatique et Liberte (CNIL) and comply to the French law: loi 78-17 du 6 Janvier 1978. User’s data can’t be used by anyone else than 2A-Tours.

Booking
To book a tour, the User needs to contact 2A-Tours via email or via our contact form on www.history-paris.com. We will then answer and provide more information about the tour. Then, the User needs to pay online the full price (via Paypal). Once this payment is done, the User will receive a voucher (by email), with information about where and when to meet, confirming his final booking. This voucher should be presented to the guide at the beginning of the tour.

For Professionals, the process is the same: Professionals must confirm booking by paying in advance 25% of the total amount. The rest will be paid the day after the tour.

If the Customer does not receive the vouchers before his arrival, he will have the opportunity to get it at 2A-Tours’s office in Paris.

Cancellation
MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION DUE TO 2A-Tours
2A-Tours works hard for his Customers to enjoy their journey in Paris. However, 2A-Tours has the right to cancel a tour and can’t be held as responsible for the consequences in following cases:
-Causae majores, or a third party acts (like bombings, strikes, etc…)
-Too few visitors are registered for the tour (tours take place when at least 2 visitors have booked)
-All our guides are busy
In such cases, we will propose to the customer another tour. If the customer doesn’t accept, he will be completely reimbursed.

CANCELLATION DUE TO THE CUSTOMER
Cancellation of Customers must be done via email. The date of the email will be held as the reference.
-Between the reservation date and 30 days before the tour, 30 Euros per person will be retained.
-Less than 29 days prior to the tour, 50% of the total amount will be retained.
-Less than 15 days prior to the tour, 75% of the total amount will be retained.
-Less than 24 hours prior to the tour, 100% of the total amount will be retained.

When a tour has started, it is considered as fully provided. No allowance can be asked in this case. For a no-show, 100% of the total amount will be retained.

Meeting points
Meeting points’ locations and time are communicated to Customers when they receive their booking voucher.

Delays
Delays might occur due to traffic jam in Paris. In case of delay, 2A-Tours will not be responsible for any additional expenses that might occur due to this delay. 2A-Tours always does his best to schedule transfers with enough time to deliver the best service. Especially, 2A-Tours will not be liable of any airline or train ticket additional charge: regarding private transfers, if the driver is late, the customer has to make sure that the time left is large enough to catch the flight or the train.

Responsability
2A-Tours’s can’t be held as responsible for any injury that could occur during a tour, according to the French and European laws.

Availability
When there is no availability, 2A-Tours tries to give an alternative opportunity.

Emails and deliveries
We recommend our Customer to verify if their e-mail address is correct.

Check your spam box if you did not receive the voucher within an appropriate timing.

Damages and Complaints
IN NO CASE SHALL 2A-TOURS AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY, “THE 2A-TOURS PARTIES”), BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS, CLAIM, DAMAGE, OR ANY SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, WHICH MIGHT OCCUR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OF THIS SITE, OR DURING A TOUR.

Court
Court of Law: PARIS, France

2A-Tours and their Customers admit that the applicable jurisdiction will be the one of Paris, France in case of complaint or damages. These Terms and Conditions are the only ones valid except if a special contract is signed. The performance of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of France. 2A-Tours can modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
